NEW: IQ OPTION LAUNCHES FX OPTIONS - AN ALTERNATIVE TO BINARY OPTIONS IN EUROPE

IQ Option is a strong leader in the online trading industry and is quick to adapt to changing conditions. The new ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority) regulations have made IQ Option’s binary and digital option products inaccessible to retail traders from the European Union, except those traders who have pro trading accounts. With this dramatic change in the regulatory environment, IQ Option has created a new class of options to accommodate their EU clients - FX options. This type of options is only available to traders from the European Union. Of course, non-EU clients can still trade binary and digital options as in the past.
We had a look at FX options and here are the most important details you need to know...
FX options can be traded on IQ Option’s web, desktop, Android, and iOS platforms and are available in 6 currency pairs. Unlike binary options which have limited payout percentages, FX options have *uncapped profitability percentages for successful trades, and the *payout percentages depend on the extent of the market’s movement. When trading a binary option contract, the profitability percentage is determined before the trade is entered and does not change while the trade is open.
* Profitability/payout percentages only apply to winning trades.

With FX options, clients can choose between the different strike prices available at a particular moment, which offers more flexibility than binary options which can only be traded at one specific strike price at any one moment. FX options can be traded with an end-of-the-hour expiry time and are only available at certain times of the day, five days a week.
