What is a Progressive Web App?
A progressive web app is a mobile application that works through the web and requires no downloading at all. While other apps are usually downloaded from an app store or some other source, a PWA can be installed by simply clicking the ‘Add to home screen’ option.
Why Does IQ Option Have a Progressive Web App?
IQ Option’s iOS (Apple) mobile trading app does not support binary option trading. However, IQ Option’s PWA makes it possible for clients with iOS mobile devices to *trade binary options. The PWA can also be used by traders with Android devices. Of course, the PWA can be used to trade *any of IQ Option’s asset classes.
*IQ Option’s binary options, digital options, and special cryptocurrency CFDs can only be traded by non-regulated clients (clients from outside the European Economic Area and professional traders from the European Union). These instruments are not available to regulated clients (retail traders from the European Economic Area). FX options can only be traded by regulated clients.
Besides enabling iOS users to trade binary options, the PWA is a faster way for new users to get started. Instead of downloading and installing one of IQ Option’s other mobile apps, the PWA can simply be added to your mobile device’s home screen.

Trading Tools, Charting, and Technical Indicators
The progressive web app is equipped with IQ Option’s full range of technical indicators. Like any of the other IQ Option apps and trading platforms, traders can choose between 4 different chart types and draw lines and Fibonacci levels on their charts with the available graphical tools.
Besides these features, traders can also use the price alert feature to receive notifications when the price of an asset reaches a certain level.
All of the instruments, except FX options, can be traded with a minimum investment of only $1. The minimum trade size on FX options is $30.
The minimum deposit for regular trading accounts is $10. For VIP trading accounts, it is $1,900. Please note that VIP accounts are available to non-regulated traders only.
NON-REGULATED CLIENTS CAN TRADE CERTAIN FOREX PAIRS WITH LEVERAGE OF UP TO 1:1000.
The amount of leverage available depends on the asset which is traded and the client’s regulation. For regulated traders, the highest leverage setting available on any instrument is 1:30 (on certain forex pairs). For non-regulated traders, it is 1:1000 on certain forex pairs.
Payout Percentages (Applicable to Options)
- The highest *payouts on binary options and ‘Current Price Mode’ digital options, is in the region of 87-92%. In exceptional cases, you can get *payouts of over 92%.
- Digital options can have *payouts of up to 600%.
- FX options offer uncapped *profitability percentages for successful trades. The magnitude of the price movement is basically the only factor that limits the potential *payout of a particular FX option trade.
*Payouts and profitability percentages apply to successful trades only.
Expiry Times (Applicable to Options and Special Crypto CFDs)
The different expiration times on options depend on the types of options that are traded. The shortest duration is a 1-minute contract, with the longest duration being ‘end of the month’.
FX options can be traded with expiration times of between 10 and 60 minutes.
Digital options can be traded with expiration times of 1 minute, 5 minutes, and 15 minutes.
Binary options have a wide range of expiration times from 1 minute up to ‘end of the month’.
Please be aware that option contracts can often be entered early or late, which means that actual expiry times can differ from the times that are indicated.
Special cryptocurrency CFDs (e.g. Bitcoin x100) generally expire at the end of the same day on which the trade is opened.
Please note that the available expiration times on all of the instruments mentioned above can change from time to time.
